      Testimonials

       To Whom It May Concern:
I worked with Doro Kiley as my Life Coach for about 8 months. I can only describe what happened in my life during that time as as a complete transformation due to our collaboration. I was definitely stuck, and couldn't get unstuck by myself. Doro helped me find the momentum to do something I'd wanted to do for a long time. I was amazed as things that I'd been stuck in for years became relatively easy, and how my goals suddenly jumped much higher than I'd originally set them! She helped me see possibilities, inspired new ideas, helped me on my spiritual path, and encouraged me to try some hard things that I found out I could do. With her support, I was able to build on what we worked on together. She encouraged my independence and taught me the skills to sustain what we'd worked on. Doro is warm, compassionate and kind. She is a highly skilled and intuitive coach. She freely gives of herself and I always had the feeling she was 100% in my corner. I've recommended her to to friends and will continue to do so.
      Sincerely,
      Larissa Chadwick / Blacksburg, VA

Doro is a wonderful coach! She showed me how to stop draining my energy and to make decisions and have confidence in myself. It has been like having a good friend who has your best interest at heart and also what to say when you need help. I was in a very stuck place and through working with Doro, I learned a lot about myself and my patterns. Her intuitive and creative skills were just what I needed. She was gentle and yet relentless when I needed reminding. Doro helped me discover myself in a new way; the way I am now, not in the past. This helped me launch myself in a totally unexpected way into he 2nd half of my life. I am so grateful to Doro for all her exceptional help.

I came to coaching to “fine tune” some identified issues, not with huge blocks, but a collection of issues that hold me back from optimal functioning. As Doro worked with me, other issues emerged, some not so small, which she assisted me in practical ways to address. Having someone to whom I would be reporting back to has a way of making the commitment to change more “real,” which is probably a red flag that my next issues should include how to be “real” in my accountability to myself. Doro has been fully present, accepting, warm, focused, and articulate in our work together. I have always been an avid reader and have worked on my “stuff” fairly relentlessly; working with a trained coach has taken me further, faster than I would or could have done on my own. I have liked the idea of shining a light together on what’s going on in my life, and it has helped illuminate a clearer path, and a clearer desk!

      Dear Doro -
I wanted to write to let you know how much I value our coach/client relationship. With your assistance over the
past two years, so much has changed in my life! Having an impartial listener has really helped me to work through various life situations, identify my role, and then to take appropriate action. The accountability of having you to check back with me regarding my progress keeps me moving forward. Specifically, working the "Clean Sweep" inventory to reduce the number of "tolerations" in my life has increased the amount of energy that I have available to pursue whatever I choose. Your advice regarding simplification of my financial life has saved me time and money both personally and in my small business. You have also been of great assistance in the streamlining of other processes in my home. You have impacted the depth and quality of my interpersonal relationships, especially with my husband and child. Your familiarity with and teaching of the principles of "Nonviolent Communication" have helped me to identify the universal human needs underlying the conflicts in my life. This in turn helps me to speak from the heart to make appropriate, specific requests of others. The outcome is greater satisfaction for all parties. I appreciate your
knowledge and skill in the practice of various relaxation strategies. The "tapping" technique that you taught me has helped me to reduce the anxiety that I feel during a crises. Regular meditation is allowing me to unwind between crises. Our exploration of The Power of Now literature has led me to some profound spiritual insights. That leads me to our newest area of focus. With many of the tolerations in my life cleared out, and the overall quieting of my mind, I am able to actively begin working with conscious manifestation and creation energies. I am feeling acceptance and appreciation for my life as it is, while also looking forward to the fruits of my endeavors. We have only the present life to live, and it has been a great relief to begin to relax and enjoy it! Doro, not only have I come to value your spiritual perspective and guidance, I've grown to consider you a true friend. Thank you for being there for me.
      Blessings,
Clare M. Evans / Newport, VA

With a combination of thoughtful listening and great questions, Doro was able to help me make a big life decision in less than 30 minutes! I really appreciated her ability to stay with me and her invitation to look deeper at what was going on, so that I could make a clear, confident choice for myself.

It is my pleasure to acknowledge Doro, and her professional work, for the two meaningful sessions I have thus far received. When I decided to participate in Doro’s in-training offer, I was aware of what area of my life needed some organizing attention, but really had no idea how we would creatively approach it or come to put things in motion. Evidently I didn’t need to know, as Doro concisely, yet personally, led me into a thinking and creating space in which she led me to spontaneously create solutions along with her sound and helpful hints. This led me into areas that I may not have otherwise considered and, at all times; Doro remained nonjudgmental, clear, and available. In addition, her voice, which in my opinion has a lot to do with “hear-ability,” is magical; owning a resonance like velvet to the ears. There is no doubt that Doro has found a venue in which these attributes, and her wisdom, have a meaningful way of touching those of us in the community. May she touch the lives of many more,
      Anna Pittman Blacksburg, VA

      Doro:
Thank you for the great job you did in coaching me. Initially I was trying to identify, grasp, and implement a goal related to some new project or career. I desperately wanted to feel and be more productive and, possibly, to earn more money. The latter were/are my felt sense of my general needs. It was soon evident that I needed to begin "sweeping clean" as a means toward that end. To me that meant, at first, clearing out the visible evidence of clutter and unfinished financial business that had been hanging around for more than a few years. In the process, over the past few weeks, a palpable desire emerged to take saunas more frequently. When research helped me find a doable solution I recognized the kind of satisfaction I was missing. That was reinforced in building the sauna. Now I feel quite confident that putting in place a more structured plan to detoxify my body/mind through saunas and exercise are the more immediate needs. These will help me build momentum to create and sustain the needed energy reserves to do other and more productive things to serve others and help myself. Throughout the process, talking to you helped me identify whenever I placed roadblocks in my path. One of the hidden "blocks" was a definite sense that I did not have a sufficiently sustainable level of energy reserves to do what I wanted. I did not want to begin important projects that I could not achieve or finish. Thus, in working with you, the most fundamental need that got clarified was/is to detoxify my body/mind to increase energy reserves. It is now clear what I have to do for at least several months.
      Thanks again,
      Ed Bickford / Charlottesville, VA

      To Whom it May Concern,
I guess this comes under the heading of an unsolicited testimonial or recommendation. Because of my background (California in the 60's followed by years in a spiritually oriented community) I needed someone who could understand, accept & feel comfortable with multiple states of awareness. I was going through a difficult transition; as an old dog trying to learn some new tricks while fasting from attachment to former habits & catching up with earlier pieces of myself all at once....
Doro not only had the experience I needed, but also the patience & humility I required in order to feel safely held in my tumultuous process. This did not distract from the practical side of her coaching ability to keep us on track with my chosen goals & timing strategy to achieve them. It did require her to tune in & adjust her pace to mine, so that every part of me felt included. I found Doro's lifelong experience in structured meditation kept us connected, yet unattached in a way which allowed us a closeness which retained clarity while accessing assistance from all levels of awareness. When necessary I could sink safely into a vulnerable state under her watchful eye of wise compassionate attention; knowing that she was simultaneously holding all the practical boundaries like how all the pieces fit together from
feelings to thoughts to belief systems, time keeping, need for pregnant-with processing silent pauses, homework or focus for next session & beyond. I need hardly add that I know we accomplished quite a bit over a comparatively short period & deep shifts took place in concentrated doses. Like that feeling of rightness when a book falls from the shelf onto your head, I know I was guided to her as the person I was next looking for, & pray that she may serve you as well as I have been served.
      With gratitude,
