    Self Description

I have always had a fierce desire to be in the full current of life.  That’s why I named my company In the Current™.  As a Career and Life Coach, I see myself as a river guide, helping people move with both patience and boldness as they navigate the decisions of their own lives and embrace a new and joyful momentum.  My specialty is helping accomplished professionals transform their restlessness into a unique opportunity to reevaluate, gain clarity, and move forward with a greater sense of purpose and  freedom.

I have a unique approach that incorporates three specific elements and also draws on what I have found to be the best material from other experts.  I am a recognized Life Blueprint™ coach and authorized facilitator of the Now What™ career and life direction program, as well as an authorized trainer of the OASIS in the Overwhelm strategies and a contributing author to the OASIS 28 Day Guide: Rewire Your Brain from Chaos to Calm.  My e-zine, published every other Tuesday, is entitled Current of Life.

    Goals

To enjoy life fully and spread joy to others.

    Interest

Some of my favorite things to do outside of my work include: dancing with the music turned up, reserving quiet time in the morning, practicing yoga, and laughing often with my husband, family, and friends.  I also enjoy good meals, relaxing with a book, and taking walks outdoors.

    Qualities & Strengths

I bring lightness and fun to the work, even when addressing serious goals.  I appreciate connecting with others on a deeper level without a façade.  Bringing energy and enthusiasm to the table, I help cultivate a fearlessness about inventing what you want and need.  I nurture a strong connection to Spirit and share a joy and zest for life that people tell me is contagious.

    Background

I was raised in Mt. Vernon, New York, and even as a young person was fascinated by how people make meaningful change and create lives that delight them.  After college, and during a 15 year corporate career which included many challenges and successes, I became cognizant of a desire to inspire and help others express their unique talents.

While researching various potential avenues to fully apply my talents, I discovered the growing field of coaching.  The match was right and in 2002 I founded my coaching business, now called In the Current™.

After living in New York and Connecticut for most of my life, I relocated with my husband to Scottsdale, Arizona in the latter part of 2006.  I interact with clients located primarily across the U.S., as well as internationally.
