Mission StatementAt Do It Anyway Coaching & Consulting, our coaching commitment is to work with you to reach your goals... your dreams. We believe our coaching responsibility is to bring out the best in you. We strive to help you reach your very best in effectiveness, productivity and satisfaction, while never taking our eye off you, the client, and your specific needs.
SpecialtiesWe specialize in communications assessment and improvement on both a personal level and on a business level. A very small percent of what we say is actually from the words we use. The right tone and appropriate body language can pave the road to success.
Not only do we specialize in dealing with the personal and professional curve balls that come at you, but we see those curve balls as an opportunity to grow in new directions and create new opportunties.
We specialize in finding and eliminating process waste, and finding ways to improve effectiveness and productivity. We have extensive training in tools that come from LEAN thinking and, more importantly, effective application of those LEAN tools, not just in a manufacturing environment, but in an office environment and in your personal life.
We have a proven track record of working with clients to look ahead and take advantage of opportunities that are just formulating or creating opportunities that haven't surfaced yet.

Self Description Living in a remote rural area in nort central Washington State allows me to be close to nature and all the wild critters that come with it. I thoroughly enjoy my 3 tiben mastiff dogs, who actually make this lifestyle possible for me. A naturally positive person who enjoys life and is able to be very active outside, I make a point to live my life and not be in competition with others. Over the years I have discovered that finding all those "shoulds" and getting rid of them creates that positive attitude I am able to share with my clients.
GoalsTo do the right thing for the right reason at the right time. To always recognize everyone as an individual with individual needs. To leave as small a footprint on Mother Earth as I possibly can.

Interest My 3 tiben mastiffs go with me on hikes around the area where I live. They go a long ways toward keeping me safe and allowing me to experience the outdoors to the fullest. Even though this may sound very solitary, one of my greatest rewards is helping people work through problems. It doesn't seem to matter if it is friends, family or clients. I listen well and have a knack for looking at things from a fresh perspective. Asking unexpected, thought provoking questions that generate creative thinking has become one of my greatest assets.
Qualities & StrengthsTo me, facilitating positive change is one the most rewarding experiences in life. I see change as a constant in life and absolutely necessary for any one person, any corporation or any organization. Without change there is not growth. But change can be very difficult to work through and difficult to understand from the inside. Being a coach and a consultant allows me to be part of change and help clients in creating positive outcomes. I have received a great deal of training in LEAN concepts and have been able to apply those concepts in a non-industrial, non-manufacturing environment. I have been able to discover good ways and not so good ways to use LEAN to create improvements and efficiencies in the work place and in your personal life.

BackgroundCoaching has been part of my world for a long time and I have combined it with my love of people to reach my own personal goals. I also worked in corporate America and know the challenges and the rewards that come from being part of that world. It has been my experience that life is full of synchronistic moments that must be taken advantage of to get the most out of what life offers. That sometimes means I have taken risks and made leaps of faith that often caused those close to me to raise an eyebrow. Each one of these opportunties has allowed me to learn and grow in new directions.
