She also serves as a career coach in the Pepperdine University Career Coaching Program. She served as VP of Sales and Marketing for two start-ups from 1997 to 2001. From 1984 to 1997 she served in various turnaround capacities at GTE Corporation encompassing market research, MIS, sales, operations, finance and project management. She culminated her career with GTE as the Vice President and General Manager of 300 person branch office selling, engineering, installing and maintaining voice, data and video products and services as well as Internet access and hosting to large business and government accounts.
